You must register in order to be notified by CodeRED for emergencies such as: evacuations, road closures, water shut offs or weather warnings.

CodeRED is geographical based and allows officials to alert Canyon residents based on their location with a pre-recorded message about a specific situation and give any action necessary.  This system is able to notify of:  emergencies, road closures, water shut offs, and any other incident where notification is essential for the  safety of lives.  Notifications are delivered through a high-speed telephone calling system and could include a voice file, text, email or TDD message. 

 

General messages with information of events, marathons or other important information will also be delivered via CodeRED.

*We recommended completing the registration process by a laptop or desktop computer and setting up a managed account that will allow you to make changes to your account in the future.

An opt-in feature includes notifications of weather warnings from the National Weather Service.  You will need to add this as an option when registering.
